A medieval village just a few km from Diano Marina and San Bartolomeo al Mare.
Cervo has a wonderfully preserved old town centre. To visit it, you must proceed on foot.
Walk up to the church of San Giovanni Battista, or the “church of Corallini”, then take via Grimaldi-Salineri towards Piazza Santa Caterina from where you can admire the Castle of Clavesana. You can then explore the former Oratory of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, the Church of San Nicola da Tolentino built on the ruins of an ancient pagan temple, Palazzo Morchio and the Tower of Sant’Antonio.
A hotel near Cervo is what you need to immerse yourself in the most authentic parts of Liguria.
